MARINATED VEGETABLES 
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 lg. can French green beans
1 sm. can English peas
1 sm. jar pimento
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped fine
1 red onion, sliced
1 cucumber, sliced thin
1 carrot, sliced thin

Heat vinegar to boiling. Add oil and sugar. Let cool. Mix together rest of ingredients. Pour marinade over mixture and refrigerate. Serves 12-14.
