HAWAIIAN BANANA BREAD 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
6 ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs, well beaten
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Cream sugar and shortening. Add bananas and eggs. Sift flour, salt and baking soda three times. Add to banana mixture. Do not overmix! Bake in a loaf pan in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Makes about 2 pounds of bread.
