CHERRY DELIGHT 
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. coconut
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
#2 can tart cherries, well drained

Mix flour, sugar and butter until well blended. Press in bottom of 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Mix eggs and remaining ingredients and spread over the baked mixture. Return to oven for another 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 9 servings.

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1-1/2 c. cherry juice (plus water)
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix flour and sugar. Add liquid, stirring until thick. Add butter and flavoring. Top with whipped cream and pour cold sauce over all.
