HAWAIIAN BEETS 
1 can tiny whole beets
1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. sherry
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp. butter
Dash of ground cloves
1 tbsp. vinegar

Drain juice of pineapple into saucepan. Add cornstarch, sugar and vinegar. Cook until thickened. Add beets, pineapple, seasonings and butter. Simmer 20 minutes.
