CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1 stick butter
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 lb. powdered sugar
cherries with stems (maraschino)

Melt butter. Add Eagle Brand milk. Mix together. Add powdered sugar and mix. Put mixture in fridge until cold and stiff enough to work with (about 2 hours). Drain cherries. Wrap the mixture around the cherries.

In a double boiler, place 1/2 bar paraffin wax and 1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips. Let chocolate chips and wax melt. Dip the wrapped cherries in the chocolate and place on waxed paper to harden.
