CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1 1/2 boxes powdered sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Maraschino cherries, drained on paper towels
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 cake paraffin wax

Mix sugar, butter, milk and vanilla well; chill until firm. Roll a small amount of the mixture around a cherry; continue with rest of mixture. Chill again until firm. Meanwhile, melt chips and paraffin in top of double boiler. Using a toothpick, dip balls into chocolate to cover, set on waxed paper to cool.
