MARSHMALLOW BARS 
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour

Combine and put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. 1/2 c. cold water 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. finely chopped maraschino cherries 1/2 c. nuts

While crust is baking, dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water; set aside. Put sugar and water in saucepan and cook for 2 minutes. Place dissolved gelatin in a large bowl and pour in the sugar and water syrup, then whip until the bowl is full and mixture is fluffy. Add cherries and nuts and spread on baked layer. Sprinkle with coconut.
