SAUCED MOSTACCIOLI 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp. oil
1 lb. 12 oz. can tomatoes, cut up (3 1/2 c.)
8 oz. can tomato sauce
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. thinly sliced pepperoni
1/2 lb. mushrooms
Parmesan cheese
12 oz. Mostaccioli, cooked and drained

In large skillet brown ground beef. Remove and set aside. In same skillet, cook onion and garlic cloves in hot oil until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and salt. Simmer covered for 1 hour. Add reserved meat, pepperoni and mushrooms. Continue cooking 30 minutes longer. Meanwhile, cook mostaccioli; drain. Toss with meat sauce. Top with grated Parmesan cheese. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
