FRENCH DRESSING STEAK | |
1 (2-1/2 to 3 lb.) sirloin steak 1 (16 oz.) bottle French or Catalina dressing 2 large yellow onions, sliced Place steak in a glass dish or resealable bag. Using a fork, poke holes all over the surface of the steak. Pour dressing over steak, then add the onions. Turn steak over to coat the other side, making sure the entire steak is coated with the onions and dressing. Marinate overnight in refrigerator. Remove steak from marinade and wipe off excess marinade with paper towels. Discard the onions. Grill steak for 5 minutes per side for medium rare. (This will depend on the thickness of your steak, so always use a thermometer to check for the right temperature.) Remove steak from grill; cover with foil and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve! Submitted by: Carol |
