POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c crushed potato chips

Mix shortening and sugars. Add eggs, salt, soda and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Stir in nuts and potato chips. Drop by the spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
