CHILI 
3 lb. ground beef
1 lb. can tomato sauce
1 lg. chopped onion
3 whole fresh tomatoes or 1 (32 oz.) can
1 can light red beans
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. chili powder
Catsup
Pasta

Brown meat, drain. Add onion and spices. Heat with sauce until hot. Add tomatoes, quartered, and beans. Heat and simmer 1/2 hour. Add catsup to taste if you like a sweet taste, and 1/2 cups water if sauce is too thick to stretch meal, add 1 cup elbow pasta or 1/2 broken spaghetti sticks. Serve with vegetables and dip and cornbread. Serves 6-8.
