SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 pt. oysters
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
4 tbsp. butter
Salt
Pepper

Butter casserole dish. Put in layer of crumbs, then a layer of oysters, salt and pepper, and dot with butter. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of crumbs. Dot with small pieces of butter. Moisten with oyster liquid and milk. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Serves 4.
