HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) hash brown frozen potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
12 oz. grated American cheese (can use Velveeta)
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
2 c. crushed corn flakes (Ritz crackers can be used)
1/2 c. melted butter

Place thawed potatoes in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Mix together next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes. Top with crushed cornflakes (or Ritz crackers). Drizzle melted butter over all. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Excellent!

NOT: Make sure frozen potatoes are totally thawed or after the 45 minutes they are still slightly raw.
