CALICAO SALISBURY STEAKS 
1/2 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. snipped parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 recipe Salisbury sauce

Combine rice, green pepper, onion, parsley and seasonings. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 4 oval patties. Grill over hot coals for 15 minutes, turning once. Serve with Salisbury sauce.

In saucepan, combine 1/4 cup catsup, 2 tablespoons chili sauce, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon beef-flavored gravy base, and 1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed. Stir in 2/3 cup water. Simmer, covered for 15 minutes. Skewer pickle chunks and green olives to garnish each burger, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
