HOLIDAY OYSTER STEW 
1/4 c. butter
1 pt. oysters
2 c. milk
1/2 c. light cream
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Melt butter in small saucepan. Add oysters with liquid. Cook and stir over low heat just until edges curl. Heat milk and cream in another saucepan. Stir in salt, pepper and oysters.

Great for a special treat at holiday time. When children are one, they get 1 oyster, 2 years get two, etc. They learn to love it! Serves 4.
