2 c. thick, smooth applesauce
1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry flavor gelatin
1 tsp. grated orange rind
3 tbsp. orange juice
1 (7 oz.) bottle lemon lime carbonated beverage (Mountain Dew or 7-Up)

Heat applesauce to boiling. Dissolve gelatin in hot applesauce. Add remaining ingredients. Chill until firm. Makes 6 servings.
