1 pt. applesauce
1 pkg. dry lime gelatin
1 c. white soda

Heat applesauce. Add the dry gelatin. Mix well. Stir in the white soda. Pour into a flat glass baking dish. Let set until firm.

TOPPING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. milk

Cream together. Spread over gelatin mixture. Garnish with nuts. You may add 4 heaping tablespoon of whipped topping to the creamed cheese mixture if a sweeter topping is desired.
