JELLO SALAD DELUXE 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Jello (cherry, strawberry or apricot)
1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained
2 lg. bananas, sliced
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. Dream Whip

Mix Jello according to package directions. Pour into a 7 1/2 x 12 inch dish. Drain pineapple juice, reserving 1/2 cup for topping. Add pineapple, bananas, and pecans to gelatin mixture. Chill until set.

Combine sugar, flour, egg, butter, pineapple juice and cream cheese in a saucepan. Cook on medium-low heat until thick. Set aside to cool. Mix Dream Whip according to package directions. Fold into topping mixture. Spread over gelatin. Chill until served. Serves 12.
