SICILIAN SUPPER 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.0 can tomato paste
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
2 c. (4 oz.) noodles, cooked and drained

Brown meat. Drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in tomato paste, water and seasonings. Simmer 5 minutes. Saute green pepper in butter. Add cream cheese and milk, stirring until cream cheese melts. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt and noodles. In a 10 x 6 inch baking dish arrange alternate crosswise rows of meat mixture and noodles. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. 6 to 8 servings.
