CHEROKEE HUCKLEBERRY BREAD 
2 c. self rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 c. berries (Huckleberries or blueberries)
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream eggs, butter and sugar together. Add flour, milk and vanilla. Sprinkle flour on berries to prevent them from going to the bottom. (Put a little flour in a small bowl, put berries in and shake them around until they're coated with flour.) Add berries to mixture. Put in baking pan and bake in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until done. (Can use a rectangular glass Pyrex baking dish. Grease and heat the dish before adding batter.)
