GRANDMA'S TURKEY DRESSING 
1 lb. fresh pork or ground sausage
3/4 lb. crackers, biscuits, or "Royal Lunch"
4 potatoes
1 lg. onion
Poultry seasoning or sage
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp. cloves

Cook meat slowly and remove excess fat, keeping some fat for the crackers to absorb. Crush crackers. Cook and mash potatoes, add chopped onion, seasonings, put all together - or use for a turkey stuffing or a baked dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes, cook until pork is well done. May also be used in crust for meat pies. I usually double recipe and use hot sausage (2-3 pounds).
