SWEDISH COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. cold water

Mix and roll just like pie crust. Spread evenly on cookie sheet in the shape of a horseshoe or wreath. Pinch edge like a pie.

TOP:

1 c. water
1 stick butter
3 eggs
1 c. flour

In a saucepan bring water and butter to a full boil. (Be sure butter is melted.) Remove from heat and add flour quickly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla, stir to mix. Spread on top of crust leaving 1/2 border around. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

DO NOT OPEN oven door. Turn off heat and leave in oven 10 minutes longer. Cool on cookie sheet. When cool, frost with any vanilla frosting. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
