Put in gallon jar:

6 to 8 med. cucumbers, thinly sliced with peel on
1 c. chopped onion

Mix: (no cooking)

2 c. sugar
1 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. canning salt

Pour on cucumbers and store in refrigerator. Shake jar before using. Keeps for months in refrigerator.
