CHRISTOPHER AND AARON'S FLAT
BREAD

11 c. flour
1 c. oil
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. warm water
1/2 c. warm water for yeast
2 pkgs. dry yeast

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar. Add half of flour, salt and oil. Stir. Add half of water. Stir. Then remaining water and enough flour to make dough. Knead until smooth and elastic; about 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turn greased side up, cover and let rise until doubled (1 hour). Punch down and raise again. After doubled, place on floured surface. Divide into 9 pieces. Roll each piece in rope. Braid three pieces together and place in greased pan; tuck ends under. Raise until doubled. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 3 loaves.

NOTE: This bread is heavy and tends to not raise as high as others.
