NO MIX CHERRY-PINEAPPLE-NUT CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow cake mix for 2 layer cake
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped pecans

Grease 13x9 inch baking dish. Spread pineapple with its syrup evenly in baking dish. Spoon cherry pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix, then chopped pecans over fruit. Cut butter into thin slices; place slices over ingredients in dish. 350 degrees for 50 minutes or golden brown.
