HAL'S GERMAN STEW | |
2 to 4 lb. stew meat 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 cup water 3 large sweet onions, cut up 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. mustard 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup vinegar 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 (15 oz.) can peas 4 medium potatoes, cut up 8 oz. baby carrots 1 cup ketchup Add a little oil to a large pot or Dutch oven and brown meat (about 20 minutes). Drain fat.
