GRANNY CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. nuts

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light cream or evaporated milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix cake ingredients and pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.

In a saucepan mix sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over hot cake.
