EDWARD'S FAVORITE LEMON DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
Dash salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped nuts
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. confectioners sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon pudding
3 c. milk
Nuts to garnish

FIRST LAYER: Mix by hand flour, sugar, dash salt, butter and 1/2 cup nuts. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool.

SECOND LAYER: Mix by hand cream cheese, confectioners sugar, 1 cup Cool Whip (reserve rest of Cool Whip). Spread on first layer.

THIRD LAYER: With mixer, beat pudding and milk. Pour over 2nd layer. Spread remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts. Let set 4 hours or overnight.
