SIMPLE SPAGHETTI 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
10 to 20 mushrooms, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 lb. ground round or ground chuck
1 lb. spicy Italian sausage, cut in pieces
1 carrot, grated
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste (optional)
Italian seasoning
Bay leaves

In a large pan brown onion, pepper, mushrooms, garlic, ground round and Italian sausage. Drain fat. Add grated carrot, tomatoes and tomato paste. Season with Italian seasoning and bay leaves. Simmer on low for 1 to 2 hours. Serve over spaghetti or use in lasagna.
