GERMAN WAFFLES 
3/4 c. softened butter
2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. white flour
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
150 to 200 milliliters water

Beat all ingredients with mixer until no lumps, then cook as usual in waffle iron. Sprinkle powdered sugar over waffles before serving.
