KENTUCKY POUND CAKE | |
2 c. self rising flour 2 c. sugar 1 1/4 c. Crisco oil 1 c. chopped pecans 4 egg whites, beaten 4 egg yolks 2 tbsp. hot water 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. crushed pineapple, drained Mix flour, sugar, oil and pineapple in a large bowl with mixer. Add egg yolks, hot water, and cinnamon. Fold in egg whites and pecans. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 325 degree oven. Use a tube pan. |
