STUFFED CABBAGES "BILL'S WAY" 
3/4 lb. each ground beef and pork
3/4 c. minute rice
2 eggs
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1/2 lb. bacon
1 lg. can tomatoes
Med. head of cabbage
1/2 tsp. parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil cabbage until leaves are flexible to roll. Mix meat, seasonings, egg, parsley, and onion. Place a spoonful of mixture on cabbage leaves and roll. Place bacon on bottom of pot; add onion, small pieces of garlic, and small portion of tomatoes. Add cabbage rolls in layers and pour balance of tomatoes over them. Simmer an hour. While cabbage is simmering, chop up balance of bacon and onion, and fry together. Pour over cabbage rolls and cook 20 minutes more basting often.
