COUNTRY CHICKEN KIEV | |
2/3 c. Land of Lakes butter 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 2 chicken breasts, split 1/4 c. white wine or apple juice 1/4 c. chopped onions 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley Heat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic, salt. Dip chicken breast in melted butter. Coat with crumb mixture. Reserve remaining butter. Place skin side up. Meanwhile, add wine or apple juice, green onions and parsley to reserved butter, approximately 1/2 cup. When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce over chicken. Continue baking for 3-5 minutes or until sauce is heated through. Serve with sauce spooned over it. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until fork-tender. Serves 4. |
