PIE CRUST | |
2 c. plain flour, sifted 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. butter flavor Crisco Condensed milk Cut shortening into flour and salt. Refrigerate milk overnight. Use milk a tablespoon at a time, until it makes a stiff dough. Put in refrigerator and let rest until chilled. Roll out pie dough and put in filling. Seal edges and brush top crust with milk, sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes and turn back to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
