CHEWY GINGER SNAPS | |
3/4 c. butter 2 eggs 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. molasses 3 3/4 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2-3 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves Cream sugar and butter. Stir in well beaten eggs. Add molasses. Add dry ingredients and blend well. Form dough into 3/4" balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet for about 12 minutes at 325 degrees. As the ball melts down during baking, the cookie develops the characteristic crinkled surface. |
