SWISS GREEN BEANS 
2 cans French style green beans
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. grated fresh onion
1 c. sour cream
4 oz. grated Swiss cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes
2 tbsp. butter

Cook 2 cans of string beans with bacon drippings for 15 minutes. Drain. Melt 2 tablespoons butter, add 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon grated onion and 1 cup sour cream. Heat but do not boil. Mix with beans and put in greased casserole, top with 4 ounces grated Swiss cheese, crush 2 cups corn flakes. Mix with 2 tablespoons melted butter, pour over grated cheese. Bake, uncovered 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
