"SWISS GREEN BEANS" | |
4 tsp. onion, grated 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced 1/2 sm. green pepper, finely chopped 4 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 tsp. sugar 1 c. sour cream 2 cans whole green beans, drained 2 c. Swiss cheese, grated Buttered crumbs Saute onion, mushrooms and green pepper in 2 tablespoons butter in skillet until tender. Blend in next 5 ingredients. Heat through - do not boil - stirring constantly. Stir in green beans and cheese. Place in greased casserole. Top with bread crumbs, dot with remaining butter. Bake at 350 degrees 20 minutes. |
