FUNNY CAKE 
NO ROLL PASTRY SHELL:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. milk
3/4 tsp. salt

BATTER:

1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Chopped nuts, opt.
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar

SAUCE:

1 sq. b. chocolate
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix pastry, press into paste, high sides as possible.

Sauce: Melt chocolate and sugar and water. Boil, add butter and take off heat, add vanilla and cool. Batter: mix all ingredients. Pour batter into crust. Pour sauce over batter. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Bake with pan underneath in case of spill over. Best to eat while warm!
