BRUNCH EGG CASSEROLE | |
4 cups toasted bread cubes 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded 8 slightly beaten eggs 4 cups milk 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/8 tsp. pepper 10 slices of bacon cooked, crisp Spread toasted bread cubes in bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Cover with Cheddar cheese. Blend remaining ingredients (except bacon) and pour mixture over bread cubes. Bake at 325 degrees until egg mixture is set, about 40-45 minutes. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over casserole during last 10 minutes of baking. Makes 10 servings. |
