3 pounds confectioners' sugar (each box is 1 lb.)
2 pounds peanut butter (32 oz.; creamy or crunchy)
1 pound (4 sticks) butter

In large bowl mix peanut butter and confectioners' sugar until crumbly then set aside.

In saucepan melt butter then pour over peanut butter mixture and mix well. Pat into waxed paper covered cookie sheet. Cool for 1 hour then cut into 1-inch squares and serve. Keep refrigerated.

Makes 6 pounds.
