BAKED BEANS AND APPLE WINE 
2 bags of white or navy beans
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 to 1 c. brown sugar
2 to 3 tbsp. molasses
Salt to taste
1 bottle of D.H.V. apple wine

Line a bean pot with salt pork or bacon strips. Add beans that have been soaking in water for at least 4 hours and drained. Add all ingredients and stir gently. Add water just to cover. Top with salt pork and bacon. P.S. I use bacon. Set oven to 200 degrees and cook overnight. Slow cooking seems to be the best way to cook beans.
