CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
4-5 sweet potatoes
1/2 stick butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Marshmallows
Pecans

Bake sweet potatoes at 350 degrees until tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. (I often do this the day before.) Cool, peel and slice crosswise into 1/2 inch thick pieces. Lay sweet potato rounds flat in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Melt butter and mix with brown sugar and salt, pour over sweet potatoes. Top with marshmallows and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes until syrup is thickened and marshmallows are toasted.
