1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. melted butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients together; let stand in refrigerator for 10 minutes. Drop 1/2 teaspoon on cookie sheet. Mash with fork and decorate with egg white and colored sugar and a walnut, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. A double batch makes 7 dozen.
