1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk

Mix thoroughly.

2 c. all-purpose flour (sifted)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix all dry ingredients, stir into applesauce mixture. Beat. Fold in pecans. Turn into 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix well.

Sprinkle topping mixture over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
