ROAST "LION" | |
Beef roast Pork roast (approximately same size) Use equal portions of beef and pork roasts (any cut); total weight depends on crowd size. Allow 1/4 pound per serving. Place both meats in roasting pan; cover and roast in a 325 degree oven until done (35 to 45 minutes per pound). Make gravy from pan juice - the gravy is the most important part of Roast Lion - serve with noodles or mashed potatoes. The flavors of the two kinds of meat intermingle to create a delicious new taste. Said to be Amish in origin. |
