YELLOW ANGEL FOOD CAKE (SPONGE
CAKE)
 
12 egg yolks
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. sugar

Line angel food cake pan with waxed paper. Beat yolks and water until stiff. Add sugar and extract. Mix flour, salt and baking powder; sift. Add to egg mixture and beat well. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees until top is golden brown and springs back after lightly touched.
