YELLOW ANGEL CAKE 
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted 3-4 times
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3/4 tsp. lemon flavoring

Separate eggs. To egg yolks add the water and salt. Beat until thick and foamy. Beat in the sugar gradually, small amount at a time. Add flavoring. Sift flour with baking powder and beat into mixture of yolks.

Beat whites until "broken" then add cream of tartar and salt. Beat whites very stiff. Fold into mixture. Bake in ungreased tube pan 1 hour about 325 degrees.
