“COCONUT OATMEAL COOKIES” IS IN:

COCONUT OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup coconut or a chocolate chips
3 cups quick rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Blend sugar and shortening, add beaten eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Stir in vanilla, coconut, oats and nuts. Mix well and drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass.

Bake at 375°F until light brown (about 8 minutes.)
