RYE BREAD APPETIZER 
1 lb. round loaf rye bread
3/4 lb. sliced Swiss cheese
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. finely grated onion
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. poppyseed
1/2 tsp. Beau Monde
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Cut bread into one inch squares, being careful not to cut through bottom of loaf and set in aluminum foil. Insert cheese into slits. Melt butter and add remaining ingredients. Pour mixture over bread. Wrap foil around loaf and bake 30 minutes at 350 degree oven.
