BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5 tbsp. shortening
1 c. buttermilk

Sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Then stir in milk. Roll out and cut biscuits. Place on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 450°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
